A concept based on the Tarot card “The Star”. The image of the card speaks of creation and also symbolizes the interplay of creative forces, malleable materiality serving as the raw material for creativity. All this perfectly describes the feminine, which is expressed in luxurious dresses on the verge of art and sexuality.
The Tutu Shop is located on the first floor of a historic home with high ceilings and large windows. This makes the space full of air and light. At the entrance there is a welcoming area. The centerpiece is a semi-circular arena showcasing high fashion. The measurement room and service areas are separated by a heavy velvet fabric, which complements the material concept.
One important design decision is duplicate stars. One is made of luminous material on the ceiling, the other of marble on the floor. The ceiling and walls are also decorated with ornamental moldings. Which makes them look elegant without being obtrusive. The floor has a complex pattern, the layout of which has been carefully thought out.
The materials are inspired by the concept of star glitter and mother-of-pearl. All coatings have a characteristic shine. Patena decorative plaster creates a play of highlights so that large surfaces do not look monotonous. The marble floor with a complex pattern emphasizes the layout and geometry of the hall. Velvet as a shiny material also complements the interior. Brass elements add even more sparkle.
